Daniel E. Brown
Executive Vice President, U.S. Onshore Operations
Mr. Brown is Executive Vice President, U.S. Onshore Operations. He previously served as Executive Vice President, International and Deepwater Operations, Senior Vice President, International and Deepwater Operations and Vice President, Operations for Anadarko’s Southern and Appalachia Region. Mr. Brown is also a Director of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and of Western Gas Equity Holdings, LLC, the general partner of Western Gas Equity Partners, LP (NYSE: WGP), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership.
Mr. Brown has more than 20 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry, beginning his career in 1998 with Kerr-McGee Corporation. He has since held a variety of positions within Anadarko, including Vice President, Corporate Planning, General Manager of the Maverick Basin and the company’s Freestone/Chalk area (U.S. onshore), Business Advisor for Planning and Reserves Administration in the Gulf of Mexico, and in engineering positions in both the U.S. onshore and the Gulf of Mexico.
Mr. Brown serves on the boards of the Texas Oil and Gas Association and the American Exploration & Production Council. He is also an Upstream Committee Member of the American Petroleum Institute. Mr. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a MBA from Rice University, where he was a Jones Scholar Award recipient. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
Benjamin M. Fink
Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO
Mr. Fink was named Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO in November 2018. He was also named Chairman of the Board of the general partners of Western Gas Partners, LP and Western Gas Equity Partners, LP (collectively the "Partnerships"). He previously served as Senior Vice President of Anadarko, as well as a director and President and CEO of the Partnerships. Prior to this, Mr. Fink served as Vice President, Finance of Anadarko and Sr. Vice President and CFO of the general partner of WES from 2009 to February 2017 and as Sr. Vice President and CFO of the general partner of WGP since its formation in 2012 to February 2017.
Mr. Fink was Director, Finance of Anadarko from April 2007 to May 2009, during which time he was responsible for principal oversight of the finance operations of an Anadarko subsidiary, Anadarko Algeria Company, LLC. From August 2006 to April 2007, Mr. Fink served as an independent financial consultant to Anadarko in its Beijing, China, and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, offices.
Mr. Fink is a board member at the Houston Grand Opera. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Robert G. Gwin
Mr. Gwin is President of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, responsible for leading the company's worldwide operations, project management, exploration, midstream and marketing, as well as Anadarko's expanding next-generation technology development and systems solutions. From March 2009 until his promotion to President in November 2018, Mr. Gwin served as Executive Vice President, Finance and CFO. Mr. Gwin also is a director of Western Gas Partners, LP and Western Gas Equity Partners, LP (collectively the "Partnerships"), serving as the Chairman of the board from October 2009 through November 2018. He also previously served as President and CEO of the Partnerships until 2010. Mr. Gwin joined Anadarko in January 2006 as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer and was named Senior Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee in March 2008.
Mr. Gwin is the former Chairman of the board of LyondellBasell Industries N.V. (NYSE: LYB) and currently serves on the boards of the MD Anderson Cancer Center, The Greater Houston Partnership, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) and Communities in Schools (CIS). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
Mitchell W. Ingram
Executive Vice President, International, Deepwater and Exploration
Mr. Ingram is Executive Vice President, International, Deepwater and Exploration, overseeing Anadarko’s international and deepwater operations, including Global LNG, exploration and project-management. Mr. Ingram is also responsible for Anadarko’s overall health, safety and environment (HSE) strategy. He previously served as Executive Vice President, International & Deepwater Operations and Project Management. Mr. Ingram joined Anadarko as Executive Vice President, Global LNG, in 2015 with more than 28 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry.
Prior to joining Anadarko, Mr. Ingram was with BG Group, where he served as Executive Vice President – Technical and a member of the company’s Executive Committee. Previously, he held positions of increasing responsibilities with the company’s LNG project in Queensland, Australia, where he was most recently the Managing Director of QGC. Prior to BG, Mr. Ingram was with Occidental Oil & Gas for 20 years, where he held several U.K. and international positions in project management, development and operations.
Mr. Ingram is a member of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association’s Queensland Industry Leadership Group and the Business Council of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering from Robert Gordon University and is a native of Scotland.
Amanda M. McMillian
Executive Vice President and General Counsel
Ms. McMillian is Executive Vice President & General Counsel. She is responsible for Anadarko's legal and human resources functions. Ms. McMillian has served in positions of increasing responsibility since joining Anadarko in December 2004, including most recently as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer. During her tenure at Anadarko, she also served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Western Gas Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Anadarko and general partner of Western Gas Partners, LP (NYSE: WES), a publicly traded midstream master limited partnership, from January 2008 to August 2012.
Prior to joining Anadarko, she practiced corporate and securities law at the law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, where she represented a variety of clients in a wide range of transactional, corporate governance and securities matters.
Ms. McMillian holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southwestern University and received both a Master of Arts and a Juris Doctor from Duke University. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional. She has been active in a number of organizations including the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, National Association of Corporate Directors and the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Southwestern University, the Board of Directors of the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, and the Advisory Board of the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra.
R. A. Walker
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Walker is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. He joined Anadarko in 2005 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, later serving as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Anadarko, he worked in the oil and natural gas industry, investment and commercial banking, and as an institutional investor.
Mr. Walker is a director of BOK Financial Corporation, serving as Chairman of the Risk Committee (NASDAQ: BOKF). He is a Trustee for the Houston Museum of Natural Science (Chairman), a member of the Business Council (Vice Chairman and Executive Committee), Business Roundtable, All-American Wildcatters (Chairman 2017 and 2018), and on the Board of Directors of the American Petroleum Institute (Executive Committee).
